German trainer for business and everyday (m/f/d) - part-time

Our international team needs you!

We are currently looking for a committed part-time German trainer to support our English-speaking, multicultural team based in Aschaffenburg in learning German for professional and private situations and using it with confidence.

Your tasks:

• Conducting tailor-made German courses at our office in Aschaffenburg for English-speaking employees of various language levels (A1-C1)

• Balanced teaching of business German (negotiations, meetings, emails) and everyday German (dealing with authorities, doctor's appointments, social interactions)

• Developing practical exercises for typical business and everyday situations

• Integrating cultural aspects for successful living and working in Germany

• Providing individual coaching for specific professional and private language situations

• Creating industry-specific and everyday learning materials with English explanations

• Regularly evaluating learning progress and providing individual feedback
  

Your profile:

• Degree in German studies, DaF/DaZ or comparable qualification

• Several years of experience teaching German as a foreign language, ideally to English-speaking learners

• Expertise in business German and everyday communication

• Fluent English (C1/C2) – essential for explanations and translations

• Experience with contrastive English-German language teaching

• Knowledge of German culture and customs in professional and private life

• Willingness to teach in person in Aschaffenburg

• Empathy, patience, and intercultural sensitivity
